A mist is draped over the festering bog so thick you can cut it. From within it emerges an ancient plantlike creature slowly plodding its way through the mire. Paying us no heed, it passes us and disappears again within the fog.

haha! what makes this so boglike? i think that even without your annotation I might've associated this with murk and slime somehow..
i love how it comes and goes tuu.
Has the bog some wheels? Or is it the belly sheering against the ground? It reminds me very strongly the original soundtrack of "Birdy" by Alan Parker and I like how the main rythm fade away and let bring the background on the front seat. Great Minute!
